Free Community Day at the San Jose Art Museum – Bring the entire family and take part in the fun as you experience art-making stations, live performances, and more.
11 AM – 4:30 PM: Hands-on art-making
“Create Your Own Wonderland”- Make a stencil project based on the art of Frank Lobdell.
Weaving – Use paper looms and yarn to create a work inspired by the tapestries and wall hangings in Mexicanisimo through Artists’ Eyes.
Wind Socks – Celebrate spring by making a decorative paper craft.
12 – 1 PM: Meet Gigante, the mascot of the San Jose Giants, and pose for a complimentary family photo.
1 – 2 PM: Music by the San Jose Jazz High School All Stars Combo.
2 – 4 PM: Music by DeJazz VU – DeJazz Vu has performed at the San Jose Capital Club, the San Jose Jazz Festival, Dana St. Roasting Co., UnWined Wine Shop, and other private venues.
